Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 5 July 2026

These Terms govern your use of FamilyBrain (the "Service"), provided by Agnes Kanchana Ström, sole proprietor registered in Sweden ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

FamilyBrain is a private command center for families — calendar, tasks, documents, knowledge and an AI assistant. You must be of legal age (or have parental consent) to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials confidential.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including:

3. AI features

The Service includes generative AI features. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and must not be relied on as professional (legal, medical, financial) advice without your own verification. You are responsible for your prompts, for verifying outputs before acting on them, and for having the rights to any content you input. We may filter, refuse or remove outputs and suspend accounts for repeated misuse.

4. Intellectual property

We retain all rights to the Service, its software, design and branding. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under your plan. You retain rights to the content you upload and grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the Service.

5. Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms.

6. Service availability

We work to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for purpose).

7. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. On termination we will provide a reasonable window to export your data before deletion.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (including fraud, death or personal injury).

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Disputes will be resolved in the competent Swedish courts.
